Access Culture’s World Music Concert Series

Access Culture’s World Music Concert Series is a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity. It provides a platform for underrepresented communities to share their stories and fosters understanding through music. Our vision is to create free, family-friendly outdoor events that promote cross-cultural exchange, build meaningful connections, and provide equitable access to high-quality artistic performances. By highlighting global traditions and ensuring accessibility for all, we address the growing need for inclusive cultural experiences in Massachusetts. These programs are particularly impactful for communities facing systemic barriers to arts participation, such as economic hardship, limited representation, and restricted access to cultural resources.

The concert series showcases a wide array of communities, including those with Arab, African, Latin American, Southeast Asian, and Indigenous heritage. Our goal is to engage immigrant and refugee communities by celebrating their traditions while welcoming broader, multicultural audiences eager to connect with global music traditions. These events are designed to inspire pride and a sense of belonging within the featured communities, while also educating and inspiring attendees to appreciate the rich cultural tapestry around them.
